I have a very rare Mustang foxbody up for sale, it’s a 1985 GT, last/best year of the carb’d 5.0 for mustangs, best looking year (in my opinion), it’s got original T-Tops which are extremely rare, and on top of that it’s only been driven for 17,400 miles. I am the 5th owner, the original owner had passed away shortly after buying the car and it sat in a barn for 20+ years. Obviously the barn wasn’t dry storage because the paint suffered and the car got surface rust on the underside. Frame is NOT rotted, Strut towers are NOT rotted, floors/pans are NOT rotted. If you are a body guy or have a friend who is, this car can easily be a show car after MINOR body work, full paint job, and undercoating. You will not find another one around here with such low mileage. I personally put 2k miles on it this last summer and am afraid that if I keep it, I will just keep racking up miles as I love driving it. The original carb needs a rebuild, I drove it with the bad carb and as a result of riding the clutch on low-rpm’s, I nearly burned it out. Car can still be moved/driven but will need a clutch replacement. I left every single thing on this car original except for the tires and the battery. Every single other thing is FACTORY. Factory radio works, a/c compressor etc. T-Tops do NOT leak. Interior is absolutely AMAZING. I am a car driver, not a car collector so i’m selling this car before I put a ton of miles on it. I know in a few years I will be kicking myself for getting rid of it. I put it at $ 8500 to sell quickly, I will not take a dollar lower, the car is easily worth $ 10k as it sits. These cars go for $ 15k+ on ebay with un-original paint job and higher miles. This is FULLY original 1985. Trades are considered if they are worth $ 10k+. Interested in a Harley, Turbo Deisel truck, or something else cool that isn’t a mustang (I have too many already). If you have any questions or interests feel free to email, or call/text me at
