1992 Ford Mustang Coupe For Sale

Was going to use this as a track car and decided to change priorities. Still needs work, but has been reliable after sorting out the previous owners work (mainly electrical) and installing the intake, supercharger, and other aftermarket goodies. V8, brake and 5-lug conversions done by previous owners, no real history available. Buyer will be responsible for smog; will need to put the stock h-pipe w/cats (available) and some troubleshooting with the check engine light.

Respond by email with your phone number if interested and thanks for looking.

-V8 conversion from 4 Cyl
-Clean Title
-Vortech V1 early supercharger, rebuilt a few hundred miles ago (rebuild by 928motorsports who replaced bearings and checked internals). This is NOT a quiet supercharger!
-Aluminum Vortech discharge tube with silicone couplers and high-pressure t-style clamps
-Dry high-flow filter
-New Edelbrock RPM Performer II upper & lower intake, Edelbrock 70mm throttle body
-24lb fuel injectors and matching Summit Racing MAF
-Maximum Motorsports strut tower brace
-Fiberglass cowl hood w/ hood pins
-Rear disc brakes with working e-brake
-Hurst short shifter
-5-lug conversion
-17″ rims with 245/45ZR17 tires (decent tread left)
-Black interior (tweed seats), interior plastics dyed black, previously blue
-Back seat bottom/back do not match
-Aftermarket power sunroof – pops up or slides under roof, no leaks found after rain or washing
-New 6-piece headlight/parking/turn lenses
-New cap/rotor/plugs/plug wires
-Synthetic oil
-Front brake hoses replaced
-New belts, larger PS pulley, smaller water pump pulley for supercharger belt clearance
-New Ford OEM heater core

Things the car needs or to be aware of:
-Not currently smog legal, no cats installed (replacement stock H-pipe with cats will go with the car); registration up to date
-Car bill of sale will state for parts only, although clean title, the buyer is responsible for smog. I was going to track the car and priorities have changed, so I was not too concerned with smog.
-Temp gauge not working
-Check engine light on, probably to do with no cats installed (will pull codes and post in a bit)
-Air bag light is on intermittently
-Probably needs a replacement brake booster
-Idle surges sometimes (could be related to brake booster vacuum leak)
-4th gear syncros worn, grinds from 3-4 and 5-4 unless shifting slowly
-Stereo buttons/functions work intermittently
-Torque boxes should be reinforced
-Pictures make the car look better than in person, paint is pretty cheap and seems a bit older, shines up to fair condition.
-Rear tires rub on outer fender (mainly drivers side) over larger bumps
-Gauge cluster swapped to 160 MPH certified calibration version, mileage unknown; speedo reads about 10 mph over at highway speeds
-Fuel tank leaks a bit if topped off
-Aftermarket MAF CARB EO sticker missing
-Windshield washer not working
-Trunk lock area covered with bondo, truck can only be opened by remote release in glovebox
-Back-up lights not working
-No AC
-Paint cracking on passenger side rear wheel well, scrape/dent at front of passenger door (see pics)

Extra parts go with the car:
-Stock Hood
-Passenger door and fender
-Inner fenders
-Trunk lid
-Extra taillight lens
-Stock H pipe with cats
-Other misc. parts

If price is right, the following uninstalled parts also go with the car:
-Maximum Motorsports adjustable caster/camber plates, new/never installed, sells for $ 210
-Maximum Motorsports Panhard Bar, new/never installed, sells for $ 385
