Hello! I have my 1989 Ford Mustang GT fox body for sale. The previous owner spent upwards of 10,000 dollars into this car trying to prep it to be a track car. He did everything right, built the engine, battery kill switch in back, cage, and more
but he then had medical issues and could no longer afford to finish it. He never ended up getting to race it. I bought it with the intention of racing it (quarter mile) but after purchasing I found that some of
The wiring was wrong and there was a constant draw on the battery. Also, there was a large oil leak from the rear main seal.. So I ended up pouring more money into the car than I thought I would. Anyways, I just had another baby and after seeing the effect another one has on my bank account.. I’m going to go ahead and sell my project. It’s complete now, ready to race or daily drive. It doesn’t have a complete interior but I just added new bride seats. (Yes they’re expensive) honestly, this would best serve you as a track car. It’s built for it, it’s very fast. It’s currently around 360whp. (Dyno’d) With a small shot of NoS you would see numbers in the lower to mid 400’s. It’s very light though so even now it’s formidable. The paint is not perfect, but mechanically it’s in great shape. Here’s the long list of parts, at this point there’s well over 15,000 into this car and there’s only about 1500 miles on this engine build. It’s never been raced or beat on. I had the intention of doing that but never got the opportunity.

331 stroker kit
dss rotating assembly
edelbrock victor jr heads and manifold
Holley 650 carb
Competition Cam and roller rockers
6qt road race oil pan
Bbk longtube headers
Magnaflow mufflers
Aluminum radiator and electric fan
Msd distributer
Arp head and main studs

T5 5 speed
Short throw shifter
373 gears possi
Aluminum drive shaft
Ram HD clutch
Scatter shield
Cobra disc brakes and matching
Cobra ebrake and cables

Front coilovers
Tubular A arms
Maximum motorsports sub frame connectors
Maximum motorsports rear lower control arms
Caster camber plates

The fixes I recently did were done at Eric’s automotive in Enumclaw. He’s an expert on drag racing cars. When he put my car on the dyno he said “this thing runs like a mother” I think that means he was impressed. Haha. This car was built right with care. If you’re looking for a budget drag car, here you go. An unbelievable value. It will work as a daily driver as well but honestly racing is what it was built for and better suited. If you have any questions feel free to email/text/call me. I believe the price is fair for the insane amount of quality parts and work in this car. Thanks for reading this novel of a craigslist post. Have a great day – John.
