1986 Mustang Lx Notchback Project – $ 3500 (Abington)

I have for sale my 1986 Mustang Lx Notchback 5.0L 5 speed. I have been working on this car since I purchased it in 2011 and probably have around 12 -15K into it. The car currently is sitting as a roller with the engine, transmission, and interior pulled. I had the entire chassis sandblasted, primed, and all the jambs painted Kona Blue Metallic. The engine bay has been painted Kona Blue and clear coated. all the suspension pieces have been sandblasted and coated in black rock guard undercoating. I replaced both floor pans and the two front sub frame rails that connect to the strut towers where rot is common. The chassis is completely solid and new except for the trunk pan which was sand blasted, but is thin and should be replaced. I have all the parts to go with the car including the full interior, a spare 2.73 Traction Lok rear end, the current 3.73 Traction Lok rear end installed, a set of 5 Lug 2006 Mustang Bullitt wheels in gunmetal, and a complete 5 lug, four wheel disc brake conversion consisting of parts from a 95 mustang. I also have the freshly built engine and T-5 transmission.

-Stock connecting rods with arp wavelock studs
-Thumper ported and polished GT40P heads w/ stainless valves
-GT-40 intake manifold x2
-FTI custom grind cam with .580 Lift
-High volume oil pump w/ hardened shaft
-High volume water pump
-Comp Cams timing chain and gears
-New Ford Hydraulic Roller Lifters
-New Comp Cams Pushrods
-New Ford Racing 1.7 roller rockers
-I’m sure there is some stuff I am missing

Transmission: World Class Cobra Spec T-5
-Rebuilt with all new bearings, synchros, sleeves, and retainers
-Hardened Mustang Cobra countershaft and input shaft
-Hardened Cobra First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Reverse, and Reverse Idler Gear
-New Ford Shift Forks
-Case was sandblasted and painted Ford Blue

I have literally put my heart and soul into this car, there is not a bolt or nut that hasn’t been gone through on it. I would like to get $ 3500 for it but am open to offers. Please email me if interested.
